“Time Served!”

I must admit Barack Obama, is an Oratorical Master of the English language!
He is impressive…
He certainly can inspire the populus, but I still say,
“Talk is easy!”
“Change is hard work!”

“A true leader is one who possess the ability to direct people in such a way as to obtain their willing obedience, confidence, respect, and loyal cooperation to accomplish the mission…”

It’s comes down to “time served!”

When some were snacking on peanut butter and jelly sandwiches, others were speaking out against injustice.

When some were trying to figure out their A,B,C’s; others were transcending change on king’s dream and vision for this snapshot in time.

When some were experiencing their first kiss, others were fighting for the welfare of children and families.

When some were digging deep in their own soul for identity, others were digging the trenches in the dark dirt of struggle for a better life for all Americans…

When some were catching a wave, others were making waves in Washington for change…

When some were studying to be prepared when their time come, others were the midnight council for the leader of the free world.

When some were working in a neighborhood, others were liberating states…

And finally, when some and others paths crossed in the chambers of justice,
they both were weighed in the balance.

Some said, “It is my time!”
“Others said in the words of the old negro spiritual, “Let the work I’m done, Speak for me!”

Some came up wanting and others were granted liberty because of “time served!”

“It’s not just about the Talk…

It’s about the Service!!!
