The Obama Movement or Hype?

The Obama Movement or Hype: From a cultural perspective…

First of all, a lot of readers of my post wonder why I am so hard on the “Brotha!” Please allow me to address this issue first… I have seen black people with lot of talent and intellect be pumped up, to only fall by the wayside when the heat is on… I have asked myself why???

From a cultural point of view, it is because of 1441… Not the bill that Bush implemented but 1441 is the year the Catholic Church sanctioned “Slavery!”
Why is this significant?
Because most people have never heard this before, but the powers that be are very aware of it. And they use this ideology to tear a man of color down to make themselves looks good. But the mistake that most black people make is that they forget this themself and get caught up in the “Hype!” Then when the heat is applied and they don’t have the tools to get the job done…
Then what???
He is the laughing stock and we are the scorned…

If Obama is the “Real Deal,” he will appreciate positive criticism… Criticism causes a wise man to evaluate himself… Who knows, he might realize something that will save him down the road. So for all the “Obama Groupies” who are on board just for the ride, remember someone has to pay for the “GAS!”

Also remember every one yelling your name does not have your best interest at heart. There was a large group of people yelling the name of “Jesus” too, right before they “Crucified” him… What am I saying, if you are going to be a “Moses” leading the people out of “Eygpt” to the red sea. When Pharoah comes on the attack, you must be able to stretch out your rod and divide the Sea! Because Pharoah is coming…

What would have happened to Moses if he had not have been able to stretch out his rod… Who knows, but needless to say the people would have been in big trouble… So now you know… I believe the Republicans really want Obama to win the nomination and the general election…
He will be their scapegoat…
Remember, bush is leaving this country in a mess…
Therefore Obama can not start repairing anything right away. He will have to do quite a lot of demolishion first…

Please understand that I am not saying Obama is not an excellent candidate but the problem with a movement is, without total commitment from all involved, it can lose momentum just as quickly as it gained it…

The comparison between a movement verses a machine: A movement is dependent on the hype of the people, the machine is fueled by the implementation of a plan of actions toward a common cause…

But culturally, the last movement of this magnitude was/is the civil rights movement… The civil rights movement is fueled by a commonality among oppressed people. This commonality is racism… It does not matter how old or young or poor or rich or big or small you are, if you are a person of color you have, are, or will experience racism…
In order for Obama to keep his movement alive, he will have to begin pretty quickly to impliment change that all can see… Or he will always have to have rallies that reiterate his dream of change… So he will have to keep this motivation speech up even in the bad times…

So you see movement can become hype pretty quickly…

Ok lets keep it interesting! Let’s take a line from a very familiar book: “It Takes a Village!”
The Republicans have already done this. They are showing a front of Unity and cohesiveness. They know it will take their entire “Village” working together to hold on to the white house… So lets practice what we preach and unify in order regain our country and take care of our people. The world is counting on us…
