Culturally speaking, we as a people have always been hoodwinked and bamboozled so easily by those who would try to keep us deceived… But (big fat black but in the room) not this time…

I received the following comment to my post about the “Unjust” shooting of another young black man by Police…
Check it, then lets wreck it…

As a young BLACK woman I am completely disgusted with the words written above. What the writer failed to mention is that the young, black college student shot and killed on Thanksgiving day was a convict who served prison time for illegal weapons possession. Had you listened to the 911 calls or even looked at the transcripts you would have seen that several neighbors called to report ’shots fired’ prior to the so called Renegade Officer arriving on the scene. Another missed fact, the young man that was shot actually took shots at the officer that responded to the call. He was shot in the back, yes; why you may ask? Likely running after he attempted to gun down a police officer. When will the Black Community stop making excuses for the ignorant acts of our people and start taking responsibility. As sad as it is to see another young, black man go at such an early age, we have to stop blaming others and take responsibility for OUR actions. When I received the call about this incident from another former high school classmate, I knew, unfortunately that there was much more to the story than what my friend told me. I have been closely following the developments of this story and will continue to do so.

So let me say “ENOUGH IS ENOUGH!” Lets teach our young Black children a better way so that history does not continue to repeat itself. Stop blaming ‘the man’ take a stand and be responsible for what occurs in your life and teach others how to create a better life without the reverse racism, without looking to what has happened to “us” in the past. Instead, look at what YOU can do create positive change instead of hate!

Even thou I do respect another takes right to feel the way she does, I am still appalled at her insensitivity to this horrific act of violence which has become a cultural trend, when the facts in this case as well as others have been so sketchy… This person read the news paper and calls it “gospel.” There are other who have disputed the record on both sides so until the SBI has done a complete investigation, the facts are not facts, just perspectives…

So from one black person to another, “Another Take” opinions are the principles of the “Willie Lynch syndrome” in full effect… Pit one against another and they will do the work for you…

It is time for “we as a people” to stop taking this stuff sitting down…
It is time for us to stand up and scream out loud,
“Enough is still Enough!!!”
It is time for accountability on both sides but (another big but in the room) without an objective voice then we only get one side of the story…
I still believe this officer acted improperly and should be held accountable for his actions… It is not up to us to do the job of the SBI and Internal affairs, but (Big phat but in the room) it is up to us to make our voice heard to this injust…

So another take is that “we the people of these United States” are tired of “Renegade Poice officers” shooting our young black men down in the street…
