“Pres. Obama: The Audacity of “Finger pointing…””

Wow…
This is some exciting stuff…
Ok, here I go again listening to “Rick’s List…”  I don’t know but it seems that Rick really want to throw the Pres under the bus…  He is constantly talking to the guys on the ground in La., who are pissed off because of  their own inept-ability to do something about this mamoth disaster…   Well, I say that they are sitting on one hand and pointing the finger with the other…   I keep hearing that the national guard should be activated…  I agree…  It is the Governor who owns the National Guard so why hasn’t he activated them…  Dahhhhhh!!!
I hear that they  got all this surplus boom…  Dahhhhhh!!!  Why haven’t they used it???  I mean, it is almost as if these people want one man (the Pres) to come down and shavel oil…  Well in case they have forgotten, the Pres has 49 more states that he has to govern…

If these people are really as emotionally connected to this disaster as they say, it seems to me that there is a lot that they themself have not done…  If the people in Tennesse had sit back and waited for the Pres to come down and make sand bags they would have had a worst result due to the flood than  they did…

I salute the Pres for standing up and taking one for the home team,  But (big fat somebody needs to get busy doing something other than pointing fingers but in the room) these people now must stand up and take some responsibility themselves …  Big oil has been their cash cow for years and the first time that cow comes up lame they want to shot it…  Well I am a country boy and if  you herd cows then herd them…

Ok, whats up with all these men crying on TV about this disaster…  It is kind of two face to me…  On the one hand they have lived on oil and now they curse it…  Wow…  In a year they will be praising “Big Oil” again because “BP” will be paying their bills…  I could see the father of the man that lost his son crying because his son will never come back…  History has proven that the marsh will come back better than before…   Sadom Insane burned and drain the centuries old marshes in Iraq after the first gulf war,  but (big fat they are back but in the room) they are back…

So lets stop acting like we, “Americans” have never been through anything before and lets do what we usually do – roll up our sleeves and go to work…

Wow…   Ok Rick’s list should only deal with the facts and not swaying public opinion…   Rick should take a note from Journalism 101 – “report the news, do not make it…”

That’s my take on it…
