“Pres. Obama: The Audacity of an “Endorsement for Democracy!!!””

Wow…
There is some really exciting stuff going on around the world especially in Libya, so let’s get right at it…
Let me start off by saying, Pres. Obama did not start the wars in Iraq or Afganistan, he inherited this mess from his predecessor…   That said,  Pres. Obama has the opportunity to do what Carter nor  Bush could do;  that is assist a nation in gaining their freedom from a dictator regime…
Pres. Carter was between a rock and hard place when he  was faced with the thugs of his time in the Middle East because the people were not ready for freedom…  Pres. Bush-II appeared to be getting rid of a dictator for reasons I still can’t figure out and as a result the people of Iraq are still lost…
Recently they reconstructed the famous fists and swords that Saddam Hussein use as his symbol of authority…

“Without public announcement or debate, the authorities here ordered the reconstruction of one of the most audacious symbols in Baghdad of Saddam’s long, violent and oppressive rule: the Victory Arch, two enormous sets of crossed swords, clutched in hands modeled after his very own.”

Wow…
Pres. Obama has history in his hands…  This is not the time for him to look back at the past administration for a resolution to the situation in the Middle East because the past has no answers…   All of the examples of the past ended with a dictator in charge and a people (of the Middle East) that were in a lethargic state of mind, settling for  whatever came their way…   Pres. Obama has only to look at his own ‘endorsement of  democracy’ in the Middle East as a torch to light the way to a resolution to this situation…

Wow…
You say, “What endorsement???
The endorsement that Pres. Obama so eloquently spelled out in his speech at the Cairo University – the forth, fifth, and sixth issue…

Pres. Obama let it be known during that speech that if the people of the Middle East stand up for democracy – that the United States of America (A champion of Democracy) would stand up with them…  It is “That Endorsement” that I and I am sure millions of people in the Middle East are thinking about…    The time for change is now for the people of the Middle East and they will not be denied…   The only question now is “did Pres. Obama mean it when he made that speech in June of 2009 or were those mere words???”

Wow…
This is some serious stuff…
So am I saying that Pres. Obama should follow in the footsteps of  Pres. Bush as a liberator of  oppressed nations…  Based on the results of the job the Bush administration did and what they had to show for their efforts,

 I say  Absolutely not…

I believe Pres. Obama should honor his word and stand up with the people of the Middle East against these tyrants as the champion of Democracy that we are…  Just as we stood with the Allied forces in WWII to give the Brits/Germans a fighting chance, so should we stand the people of the Middle East…  Also as we did in WWII we should be paid for our involvement by “Making a Deal” with the potential new democratic government for oil as payment for our support…   This is what I believe  Bush should have done when he so-called liberated Iraq…

It’s the cost of  freedom…

But (first big phat but in the room) he did not and we are paying the price for it ourselves…   What did we get out of it???   Nothing from Bush’s wars…

Wow…
I am sure the people of the Middle East will be happy to come to the table to negotiate a fair deal when faced with the possibility of Gadhafi and sons  ruling the entire region…  Gadhafi and his sons will take over the entire Middle East with their massive military might if Gadhafi is allowed to go unchecked by the United States Military…  He will not stop at the boarders of Libya  but Saudi Arabia will be the his crown jewel in his empire…  It is only the United States military that has the ability to stop him from doing as he will…

Wow…
Now the consequences are dire if Gadhafi controls  access to the oil fields of the Middle East…   Americans will be forced to pay an unprecedented amount for gasoline and fuel oil…  We could be virtually cutoff from Mid-Eastern oil all together…   And now since  we know that Gadhafi ordered the downing of the airliner, Pam-Am 103, over Lockerbie Scotland (which he has never be held accountable for), if left in power –  no American could ever feel safe flying anywhere in Europe…

So you see, Pres. Obama must be a man of his word to prevent what is inevitable if Gadhafi is left to do his will…   Gadhafi rules out of fear…  It will not be long before he will have killed off all passion for democracy left in the remaining freedom fighter, but (a big fat he will not stop there but in the room) he will be labelled a tyrant by all democratic countries in the world therefore he will be left with no choice but to take over the region…

Wow…
This is some really heavy stuff…
I believe Pres. Obama is the one to shoulder this load with the assistance of the greatest military minds we have nurtured over the last forty years…
To stand with those seeking freedom and liberation from a dictator is what we the people of the United States are about…   The Iraq people never asked us to stand with them…  These people, as the Brits and Germans, are asking us to stand with them in solidarity…  If we are who we the believers in Democracy, then it is our duty to stand…  I am no fool…  We can’t wage war without paying for it, that is why we make our stand conditional for the betterment of all parties…

It is similar to the “BP” situation – “Make them Pay!!!”

Wow…
I hope you can feel me on this…
The motto if you are a true believer in Democracy is  “Yes we can…”

  1. Pres Obama The Audacity Of An Endorsement For Democracy…

[…]Gadafi and his sons wil take over the entire Midle East with their masive military might if Gadafi is[…]…

  2. They aren’t Bush’s wars. Barack Obama has been in office for over two years now. He’s continued both wars. They’re his wars now. Bush is out of office — thank you, Jesus — so there’s no point in dragging him into the ongoing wars.
Barack Obama has been a huge disappointment and I will not block walk for him in 2012, I will not phone bank for him and I will not even vote for him. In March 2008, his then-adviser Samantha Power told the BBC that Barack Obama’s campaign promises on Iraq weren’t for real and he’d decide what to do if he got elected. Right after she said, she resigned. And I thought, “Good, Dumb liar.” Turns out she was telling the truth and I was the idiot believing Obama was going to do a damn thing. I remember the promises, I remember the speeches, I hounded everyone to vote for him because I believed in him.
I will not be a fool again and, let’s be really honest here, I need to make peace with God as well because Obama is not Jesus but I surely acted like he was back at the start of 2009 when he was sworn in as president. He’s just another politician not doing a damn thing while unemployment in the Black community skyrockets.
