John832There went out a (Lev 23:27) great call for prayer for all nations of the world. The call went into the highways and the low ways and everywhere, but no one answered the call. Then God sent out a soft voice, with a token of peace, that all the world might know that he had sent it. A token God had prepared for a great person in his sight, one that would lead the world into a new generation of peace. But all the great men and women of this time rejected it. Then God sent out a messenger with a message from above. The messenger took the call and carried the token unto the world saying “this is the call and this is the token, God has sent into the world, he is calling for us to pray as all the nations of the world come together in this place. God is calling for all the people to pray for peace for the world, arm-in-arm, hand-in-hand, even as this token, this quilt of many colors of all the nations of the world is neatly stitched together in harmony, beauty, and splendor, so shall he send his peace among all the nations. And the messenger went out with the message into the world, but the world received him not.  Philippians 2.13 KJV
Then the hour of prayer came. The soft voice and the small voice and the messenger went out to the place where the nations were to gather to pray. But the gates were closed and the watchman was on his post saying, “Who comes and what is your business?” The messenger said, “We are one coming in the name of the Lord to pray for all the nations of the world that will gather in this place.” The watchman replied, “The gates are closed and no one can come in, the agenda is set and cannot be changed, the young ambassador has ordained it and I must see it through.” Then the messenger gave thanks from with-out the gates and went round about the outside of the place where all the nations of the world were to gather looking for a way in, but all the gates were closed and the watchmen were on their post. The messenger searched and searched but found no way in. And then God spoke to the messenger saying “Be still and know that I am God.” The messenger was still.  Your sins shall find you out
The gates were opened according to the agenda that the young ambassador had set. The people of all the nations of the world came into that place to celebrate, to make merry, and to engage in all sorts of folly before the Lord. The messenger walked among them. His heart was very heavy and his spirit was greatly vexed as he walked and prayed, “Lord, have mercy, have mercy on the people of all the nations of the world that are gathered in this place.” For seven days the nations of the world gathered in that place, drinking and eating and making all sorts of folly before the Lord. The call for prayer was great in the midst of them, but they heard it not. One day as the messenger walked among them, he fasted and prayed, “Lord, have mercy, have mercy on the people of all the nations of the world gathered in this place.” He walked and walked, suffering from thirst being weak and tired he sat down on a seat in the midst of them. He was moved to sorrow because of their unbelief. No one answered the call to pray. So he prayed and prayed that God’s will would be done in the midst of them.
As he sat there, praying, the feeling of failure came upon him. His spirit was brought low. Then at that moment, a man of great fame and fortune walked by him. The man was dressed in all white apparel from head to toe. Immediately, the people of all the nations of the world gathered in that place ran up to the famous man to shake his hand, to ask for his autograph, and to take a picture with him. The messenger sat in the midst of them as the famous man looked into his eyes. Without saying a word, the famous man spoke in his spirit, “Don’t you know who I am, can’t you see, I am rich and famous and this is why they run to me?” The messenger did not move or say a word as the famous man, bewildered, continued to look into his eyes. Then the messenger, without saying a word, said in his spirit, “Don’t you know who God is, for he has called us here at this moment for such a time as this – that he that is with power might lose it and he that is without power might gain it and that the two might become one and God’s will might be done among the people of all the nations of the world gathered in this place. And the messenger and the famous man left that place both renewed and broken. For the spirit of God had spoken and they received as the people of all the nations of the world continued to make folly in that place before the Lord.
Then early on the eight day morning as the people of all the nations of the world made great folly and celebration in that place, there was a great rumbling, a great noise, a great sound as thunder, and a great flash of light, a bright light, a frightening light, as lightning; bursting through the midst of the place where all the people of all the nations of the world had gathered – turning laughter into sadness, smiles into tears, happiness into sorrow, and joy into fears. In a moment, in a twinkling of an eye, death on the back of the dark horseman came riding by. For a moment there was silence and calm as death on the back of the dark horseman rode on. Then there was trembling and mourning and crying and pain and tears and blood and death in the midst of the people of all the nations of the world gathered in that place. There sirens and screams and lights flashing and people running and mourning and yelling, “Help, help, help my mom, my little girl, my lover, my friend. There were lights flashing everywhere, blue, white, red, yellow, green and people were running and people were laying everywhere. Great fear fell into the midst of the place where the people of all the nations of the world had gathered.  thetoken-quilofmanycolors
Then there was a great quietness, a great darkness, a great calm on every side as the rain began to fall in this place where all the nations of the world had gathered. No more celebration, no more dancing, no more eating, and no more making folly before the Lord in this place. Just darkness and emptiness and rain now filled this solemn and desolate place where the people of all the nations of the world had gathered. Then the Spirit spoke, “I am the Lord, God; I will have no other God before me!!!” As the rain fell to the ground, it mixed with the blood, it washed down the streets, baptizing the place where the people of all the nations of the world had gathered, creating a sanctuary, a holy place, cleaned by the Holy Spirit, prepared by God for a memorial of his move of power in the midst of the people of all the nations of the world in that place.
Then for three days, darkness covered that place as God closed the gates and put the people of all the nations of all the world out. No one could enter in, for God had his watchman at the gates saying, “Who comes and what is your business.” No one’s answer humbled him. The watchmen stood boldly on their post for the agenda had been changed each time the watchman were approached they would say, “The gates are closed, the agenda has been amended, God has ordained it, the young Ambassador has signed it, and I must see it through.” Then darkness fell on the eve of the first day. Silence and calm and darkness hovered over that place like a mist, like a fog. Not allowing anyone or anything to come in. Nothing or no one could break God’s calm. Then night gives way to the dawn of the second day. Dreariness, calm, no movement — anywhere, nothing but darkness everywhere. The question was asked among the people from without the place where all the nations of the world had gathered. Will God ever allow life to come again to this place, this place of hurt and pain and despair? This place without life, without light, and without prayer. The night gave way to the morning of the third day. Behold, the birds began to sing, the bells began to ring, the sun light began to shine in the place where the people of all the nations of the world had gathered. The trumpet began to sound; blowing in new life, a new beginning, a new sound of hope in the place where there was once no hope. The earth opened up, the souls of the spirits walked upon the place where God called for prayer saying, “Holy, Holy, Holy is the Lord. His mercy endures forever.”
Then God lifted the darkness and moved back the clouds, shining his light upon all the nations once again. He warmed them with His Spirit and covered them with His grace as the gates of this place where all the nations of the world had gathered were opened once again. A new dawn, a new beginning ordained by God, that this will might be done.
And the call for prayer went out once again in the place where the people of all the nations of the world were gathered together. The call went out through the highways and the low ways and everywhere it could be heard and the people of all the nations of the world heard the call and answered it. In one loud voice, in one spirit, and in one body, all the people of all the nations of the world gave thanks to God for his excellent greatness and everlasting love toward the world. Then in the midst of them as they laughed and cried and cheered, and prayed: A small voice could be heard saying, “The Lord is in His Holy Temple; Let all the earth keep silent before Him.” Then there was a great silence that fell upon the people of all the nations of the world gathered in that place. The big and the small, those with power, and those without power, people of all colors, all tongues, and all nationalities stood together before the Lord in that place. Then the young Ambassador stood up in the midst of them. He opened his mouth and he said, “As the eyes and ears of the people of all the nations of the world are on us now, Thus saith the Lord, Let there be peace.” And the people from all the nations of the world gathered in that place replied, (2 Thessalonians 3:16)
“Let there be peace.”
For several days thereafter, the celebration carried on in the spirit of unity, love, and peace in that place. One evening as the celebration carried on in the place where the people of all the nations of the world had gathered, there was great laughter, and cheer, and gladness, and joy and all the people of all the nations of the world celebrated before the Lord. Then in the midst of them a small voice was heard. She kneeled by the place where death on the back of the dark horseman rode by. Tears fell to the ground as she wondered why, why, why was she brought to this place. Why was she chosen to carry this burden; Why, why me? She cried. God heard her cry and sent the messenger and the soft voice and the token to the place where the small voice was heard crying. Then God said, “This is the great and the small, give her the token, the quilt of many colors as a comforter, that she might be the new Ambassador of Peace,” a chosen vessel prepared by God for such a time as this, that this move of God may never be forgotten from this time forward and forever more, from generation to generation, throughout eternity.
So the messenger and the soft voice gave the token, the quilt of many colors, to the small voice in the midst of the people of all the nations of the world that the will of God might be fulfilled. Then in a great voice, the messenger looked to heaven and said, “Let there be Peace.” And the people of all the nations of the world gathered in that place replied, “Let there be Peace.” The small voice uttered not a word, she just took the token, and the burden and the words of God and held them close to her heart and went away as she came; restored, renewed, and rewarded. Then as the celebration began, it also ended. The people of all the nations of the world went away to their own places; changed, transformed, restored, and fulfilled, renewed in the spirit of peace. Now the place where all the people of all the nations of the world had gathered is empty. No one is around and there is quiet, there is calm, there is silence. No voices can be heard and no sounds anywhere. Just quiet, calm, and peace in this place. Then deep, deep down in the midst of this place could be heard a still voice over the silence, the calm, and the peace.
“The Lord is in His Holy Temple; let all the earth keep silent before Him.” (Hab 2:20)
A call for prayer went out to all the people of all the nations of the world. Did you miss the call? Amen.
