Truth be told I believe @Oprah owe @QuincyDJones a ‘BIRD DOG’ for the tune of 100 Million + for getting her the role of “Sophia”… Now that’s a different “Shade of the Color Purple…”

Wow… My Big Mama (Eva Mae Jacobs) was the size of @Oprah her entire life, my Big Mama was as black (Hue) as @Oprah, and my Big Mama was as bad as @Oprah thinks she is… The difference is My Big Mama that was born (1926) in the very racist south (NC) during the time when Black people (@GullahGeechee) were not given the opportunity to advance based on their own abilities (because of the color of their skin) but were oppressed (Systematically kept in poverty) severely everyday of their lives as laborers to white people…
My Big Mama was sexually assaulted by lots of people all her young adult life before she met my dad (Angus F. Jacobs – a WWI my Veteran) in the mid 1950s; then things for her got better. They had me and my three siblings… In the mid 1960s, my dad died (he was 66 and I was 7) and the white men came and took our house; and threatened to beat my Big Mama with a stick he picked up off the ground…
The white men took our fifty (50) acres of land and sold off all of our pine trees while my mother had to go back to reaching out to men again to provide for us and keep a roof over our heads…
Through all that we as a family went through, nothing that @Oprah talks about makes me think her way of thinking would have worked for us – save the hand of God intervening. @Oprah lives in this false reality that she made for herself by “hook or crook” but truth be told (she probably doesn’t want the truth told), it was God’s hand that has allowed her all her successes; but does she acknowledge that… We believed and relied on our faith in Jesus Christ to see us through and I know a lot more people who can testify that it wasn’t @Oprah or anyone of the sort that got them through the tough time; but it was their faith in Jesus Christ…
@Oprah acts like there are not any external forces that effects the systematically oppressed black people on a daily basis even until today…
From @Oprah’s viewpoint, it appears that she doesn’t acknowledge the effects “PTSD of Slavery” has on the Black people in America; because she slid through a seam that has allowed her to make great money… The same white people that allowed her to make that money could turn against her and begin to treat her like they did Bill Cosby in her 80s…
From my perspective @Oprah burned her “Black Card” a long time ago, therefore most black people don’t see her as one of us but as one of our oppressor; i.e. look how she used Michael Jackson when he was alive to get one of the highest rated shows she ever recorded; but in his death, she lambaste him…
What kind of person (@Oprah) is that??? It is well documented that Michael Jackson was never found guilty by a 10 year investigation of the FBI and from several court cases of any crime… Based on these facts, it is obvious to me that @Oprah really doesn’t give a damn whether black people are helped or healed by any venture she goes into with anyone including Prince Henry of Sussex… https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nMkqEf2wJSg

If truth be told, I believe @Oprah owes @QuincyDJones a “Bird Dog” of at least $100,000,000.00 + for finding the role of Sophia in the Color Purple for her, which was the true launch of her successful career…
